Professional testing replaces assumptions about water quality with laboratory data.
Lead, bacteria, PFAS, VOCs, metals and other contaminants require specific laboratory analysis rather than a generic 'water test.'
Olympian provides on-site collection with accredited environmental laboratory analysis for the parameters selected.
Send the details and a specialist will respond.
Water quality at the point of use is influenced by both the incoming supply and the property itself. Service lines, interior piping, valves, fixtures, storage equipment and building use can all affect the water after it leaves the public distribution system.
Olympian Water Testing provides professional drinking-water testing for homeowners, renters, property buyers, businesses, building owners and managers, co-ops and condominiums, schools, childcare programs, healthcare facilities and other organizations throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
Several contaminants of genuine concern give no indication of their presence. Lead cannot be seen, tasted or smelled. Neither can PFAS. Water that looks and tastes entirely normal can still carry measurable concentrations, which is why laboratory analysis is the only reliable way to establish the position.
Clients commonly commission testing after changes in taste, color or odor, plumbing or street work, a property purchase, an occupant complaint, a regulatory or facility requirement, or simply because current point-of-use data is needed.
Testing can be commissioned for residences, apartment and condominium buildings, businesses, schools, childcare facilities and other properties. For homes or facilities serving infants, young children or pregnant women, contaminant selection may also reflect the greater sensitivity of those populations.
Our laboratory technician performs the site visit and identifies every cold water point of use, including utility sinks, exterior taps and accessory lines feeding refrigerator dispensers.
The client confirms which points matter. Where a defined stagnation period is required, Olympian provides the preparation instructions before the visit so the sampling plan matches the testing objective.
Nothing is opened or dismantled. Bottles are filled at the existing taps exactly as they are, so the result describes the water occupants actually receive at that point of use, and samples are handled under documented chain of custody throughout.
Reporting identifies the sampled locations, parameters analyzed, measured results and reporting limits, together with the applicable reference framework.
Where results need to be reviewed by a property owner, managing agent, facility manager, plumber, consultant or physician, that documentation is what allows the conversation to proceed on facts rather than impressions.
Health questions relating to a specific individual are properly directed to a physician, and the report is prepared so that conversation can be a specific one.
